Because of this they refer to themselves and the Lord of Blades as good and automatically pass any sense motive checks that are made in relation to this. They also refer to enemies detected by the Detect Warforged Prejudice ability as evil as well. This also applies to their powers (i.e. they refer to Detect Warforged Prejudice as "detect evil" and Smite Living as "smite evil"). However stating that the lord of blades, their powers, or themselves are evil counts as a lie for them and can be detected as such by a sense motive check. This ability has no affect magical methods of detecting lies however. Aura of Evil: The power of a paladin of blades aura of evil (see the detect evil spell) is equal to his paladin of blades level, just as with the aura of a cleric of an evil deity Detect Warforged Prejudice (Sp): At will, a paladin of blades can detect the presence of living beings that are prejudiced against Warforged similar to detect good. Smite Living (Su): Once per day, a paladin of blades may attempt to smite living beings with one normal melee attack. This can not be used against non-living beings which include, deathless, undead, constructs, and elementals. This ability is otherwise identical to the standard paladins ability to smite evil, including increased daily uses as the paladin of blades gains class levels. Level 2: Durable Will: At 2nd level, a paladin of blades gains a bonus equal to his Constitution bonus (if any) on Will saves. Lords Blessing: Beginning at 2nd level, a paladin of blades with a Constitution score of 12 or higher can repair damage dealt to any construct or living construct (including himself) by touch. Each day he can repair a total number of hit points of damage equal to his paladin level plus his Constitution bonus. For example, a 7th-level paladin of blades with this substitution feature and a Constitution score of 16 can repair 21 points of damage per day. A baladin of blades can choose to divide this ability among multiple recipients, and he doesn't have to use it all at once. Using Lords Blessing is a standard action. Alternatively, a paladin of blades can use any or all of this power on living creatures, use on a living creature causes physical damage equal to the number of points of Lords Blessing expended (similar to Deadly Touch). Level 3: Immunity to Stunning: From 3rd level on, a paladin of blades cannot be stunned. Debilitating Aura: Beginning at 3rd level, a paladin of blades radiates a malign aura that causes enemies within 10 feet of him to take a -1 penalty to Armor Class. This ability otherwise functions identically to the paladin’s aura of courage. Level 4: Lords Presence: Beginning at 4th level, a paladin of blades can channel the power of the Lord of Blades as a standard action to demoralize opponents within 60 feet which causes -2 to ac, ability checks and will saves (just like demoralizing with the intimidate skill). Roll 2d6 + paladin level + STR modifier to determine how many HD's of enemies the paladin can demoralize. As the weak deserve to be dominated this power always affects enemies starting with the lowest HD first and moving up. The paladin of blades can use this ability for 3 + CON modifier times per day. Levels taken in Warforged Juggernaut also apply towards this ability. Spells: At level 4 a paladin of blades gains divine spells based off Wis similar to a standard paladin.
